Description

When Worlds Collide is a sci-fi, space-themed Match 3 style puzzle game.
This isn't your grandma's Bejeweled!

All game play is controlled with the mouse.

There are 2 game modes currently. Match 3 and Match 4. Match 4 makes for a more difficult style of game.

The goal is to destroy the planets by making matches. To advance to the next level, you must destroy the required number of planets for the current level before you run out of fuel.

How to Play

Swap a planet with an adjacent planet to make a set of 3 or more same planets by clicking and dragging on it. In Match 4, sets must consist of 4 of the same
planet. These matched sets do not have to be in a straight line. Bonus points are given if a set of matched planets is greater than the current game's required matched set. For example, in a Match 3 game, matched sets of 4 or more planets provide bonus points. A bonus is also give for the remaining time (fuel) in the completed level.

The game ends when you are not able to destroy the required number of planets before you run out of fuel each level. Destroy the planets before you run out of fuel!!!

A hint button is provided. This button is able to be used as many times as needed. Just remember, using the hint does eat up some extra time, so use it wisely.

It is important to note that the planets do not reload to the screen in a conventional "top-down" manner. When the game starts,
players should notice that the game grid is split into 4 quadrants. Planets load from the top, left, right, or bottom depending on which quadrant the planets exploded in.

Argh! I really like the game, but the match4 could get really annoying. The chance to need a "realign" is quite bigger and sometimes it happens 3-4 times in a row, yet the timer is still ticking. It makes the level practically unplayable, and the user has no fault for it. Maybe if the timer stops you solve it? Or at least (which would be a bit harder) to generate a board with a sure match so the realigning would not be done more than one in a row?

Really gotta give you an extra star for the "realigning planets" part. Good thinking there. Nice new version of this simple game. 4/5
