Reasonably fun game, but a thought on the double-jump. In nearly every game I've ever played with the mechanic, using the double jump immediately sets your upward momentum to be that of a fresh jump. In this game, it seems to add instead, so it's basically useless once you're on your way down, while also meaning jumping twice gives more than double height. I'm not sure there was a single jump in the game that was jumpable with a non-double. Would make more sense for the double-jump to work like other games or just take it away and make the default jump be double-jump height since every single time I jumped it was an immediate double.

controls are terrible why even have a double jump instead of a single large one when i never needed it the whole time, also the vision with e was useless as well, it recharges almost instantly and the platforms should still be there when you loose vision.

Would be nice if, once you got the staff, you could see vague outlines of the platforms even when they're intangible. So you wouldn't need to keep activating the staff and zooming out whenever you got to a new area to check if there were any platforms. Alternately, the platforms could have been merely invisible, rather than also intangible, and touching them could have dispelled the glamour, the platforms could have been used to access side areas containing secrets and powerups instead of progressing through the main game, and the staff could have been a late-game acquisition to help you scour the map for anything you'd missed. Either way, it would have been cool to have wall that worked the reverse of however the platforms worked, hidden passages instead of hidden platforms.

The double jump is pretty wonky in both this game and the previous, and the zoom couldve been a toggle. aside from everything already mentioned, the game is good

fun! a good continuation of the first chapter, and i enjoyed the new mechanics. pressing z to widen the view but I think it would have been more helpful as more of a toggle than a press and hold. using the staff was a bit cumbersome since i was already using my left hand for wasd, but it was a good game and i look forward to seeing future chapters.
Thanks!
