Description

You control the crew of a flying fortress, armed with machine guns covering all sides and plenty of bombs. Guide your bomber through enemy cities on your mission of a full day bombing run. Destroy all enemy buildings, engage hostile fighters, collect power-ups and upgrade your plane devices.

How to Play

Use arrow keys or W/A/S/D keys to control the bomber.
B to open/close bomb bay door
Space to drop a bomb
Mouse to aim and left click to fire the gun
TAB to pause and access options and upgrades

Your mission is to destroy buildings on cities while sparing civilian houses. You can destroy buildings with your bombs or with the machine guns.

Each one of the four view windows controls a gun in the plane.

You can have a visual aim at floor where the bomb will fall if you keep the gun aim near the right spot.

Each building destroyed leaves a power-up that can be collected flying the bomber trough it.

The fuel power-up fills your tank with some more fuel.
The wrench power-up fix a little the damages.
The bombs power-up gives you more bombs.
The tech power-up gives you a tech point.

You can use tech points to upgrade your bomber (Tab key to access menu). Engine upgrade makes the bomber fly faster. Guns upgrades all machine guns firepower. Wings upgrade make the bomber more maneuverable. Bombs upgrade the bombs destruction power and range. Armor upgrade make the bomber take less damage from shots.

From time to time fighters are sent to hunt you down. You can defend from them with machine guns and some skill. They will also drop power-ups when killed.

Some cities are also heavily defended with AA guns. Their range and aim are linked with active radars buildings on city. Destroy these from above to make your life easier.

Good luck.

Great game! I was looking for a dogfight, yet nobody had it... It seems the bomber is a little bit slow to fight enemy fighters, and sometimes too fast to accurately bomb buildings(that is, from high altitude). Maybe a way to change speed?

Yes, this will be in future version, a way to change speed. The 0.4b changed bomber control, check it out. Thank you for your review.

i really like how this game started... but decoration for the bomber and plane could be useful.. u should aslo install different levels like easy level just the plane. harder level has flak guns and even harder has anti-air defenses with flak and planes. u should also make a campaign were u can customize the bomber and give it upgrades. also a more direct objective like more backround info (bombing tank factory over in germany).. this game has potential and has a great start... but yeah.. without the details im going to have to give it 3 out of 5. OTHER THAN THISS GREAT GAME!!!!! but i think more people would play it if these were added if possible.. GOOD LUCK MAN!! U GOT THE BALL ROLLIN ON A GREAT GAME(: oh ps. u should be able to buy dif planes and mabey a fighter escort.

Hi! Well there are some things like that in that version already: In the first city there always be only one plane, with low AI and the AI of the AA turrets are dumb (the AI of the turrets are determined by the number of active radars on city). Also, you can upgrade your bomber: When you destroy buildings sometimes you can find a tech point power up. These can be used to upgrade your bomber pressing TAB. There are 5 aspects to upgrade, each one up to level 5. Few people are doing this, I am thinking a way to let players be more aware of gameplay depth. About germany: Do you know, in the initial idea of the game I was thinking to name it "To berlin with love", where you flight over named nazi cities over europe... But I found better let it neutral. Thank you for the review man!

i like the idea of game, but it's to hard to control all of that things at once.... very hard to aim for a plane and the bomber is too slow to catch the place, my idea is that you try and make the movement mouse controlled, and if you want to look down or by the side you press shift or ctrl, because many screens are confusing and there is too little space to see them all, or you could make it full screen, other than that it's a good game.3/5

Since first time that I coded the bomber movement, the fighters, the guns, the bomb fall, I did understand that this would never be an easy game and there are few things to be done about that... But about destroying fighters more easily, upgrade gun and wing level. Also fly very close to ground because fighters avoid low altitude. Of course when you fly close to ground AA guns will rip you apart so you need to destroy then from above first... Also, I agree that are little screen space for the 4 views and I just finished full screen support. Thank you for your review!
