GemCraft is a unique tower defense game, where, instead of towers, gems are your main weapons to fight the endless hordes of monsters coming for you.
Place your gems in either towers, traps, or amplifiers, replace and switch them as you want, combine them to create more powerful gems with various abilities, drop them as gem bombs or activate powerful buildings, the possibilities are endless, the choice is yours!
Fight your way through an epic storyline, unfolding mysteries and facing sinister enemies and artifacts, as you try to entrap the Forgotten, an archdemon with an unknown agenda and no known way to kill, and to slay down her demonic avatars, the shadows. Fierce and desperate battles await you…

Hold Shift to place multiple buildings

Click on empty building: Insert first gem from inventory

Numpad 1..9: Create gem
1..3: Strike spells
4..6: Gem enhancement spells
B: Throw gem bombs
Hold Shift + B: Throw gems by clicking from inventory
B + hold Shift: Use mana to throw clone bombs of the first gem in the inventory
Mouse wheel or Up/Down over Gem bomb button: set number of bombs to throw on wave/spark stones in clone bombing mode
Mouse wheel over gem: decrease gem range
Select target, then Arrow keys: Cycle through targets
Right click or Shift-click on gem: Adjust target priority
Alt-click or Ctrl-click: Ignore gems, force selecting targets
Esc: Options screen
WASD, Arrow keys, Mouse drag: Navigate world map
PageUp/PageDown or Mouse wheel: Zoom world map

- Fixed: Spiritforge controlled towers with their gems stolen by a specter stated that a new gem can be inserted
- When the Forgotten locks the gui, the call for early waves is withdrawn
- Fixed some typos
- Waves enraged by the Forgotten can’t be cleaned of rage anymore
- Fixed a bug involving specters almost leaving the battlefield with a stolen gem
- Minor change at field V7: One of the Spf towers upgrades its gem later

can game developers or kongregate please figure out why this ame will not open with supernova. it just gets to the game in a bottle icon. thank you in advance for fixing the issue

To anyone still playing in 2019, a new GemCraft chapter is in development, GemCraft Frostborn Wrath has just got a Coming Soon page on Steam (you can search for the game to get there and Wishlist it to get notified when it arrives). And, nothing's sure yet, but I also have some future plans to release remakes of the old GemCraft chapters, to make them somehow survive the end of Flash Player support in web browsers.

Fun game, could really use a visual indicator when a talisman is fully upgraded though. ie glowing outline, or make the glyph in the middle brighter etc.

Almost every review I've read of this game says the graphics are nothing to get excited about, but I think they do a great job of blending with the music to create that spooky, ominous atmosphere.
