Yeah. This is awful. There is no reason to even both with the other towers. As there is no way to raise your amount of starting cash. Just spam the first tower, and upgrade them to max, over and over and over.
This game needs, a *lot* of, work.

Terrible gameplay. Did you test the game? The level start almost imediately and the balance isn't good either. No fun at all... sorry
