Let me correct that post below. The issue was that after playing on Normal mode, then replaying the level on Hard mode, the difficulty did not update to Hard (I did not realize this). I apologize for the error. After exiting and reloading the app, the difficulty was correctly recorded, and scores were calculated as expected. Sorry.

Interesting idea. However, you have a gold medal score achievable only on Hard difficult, but that cannot be achieved unless you are 1) perfect in performance, and 2) lucky enough that the letters needed are exactly the first ones on screen. That is the only way to meet the time requirement. No other way to meet the speed requirement. This takes the achievement out of the player's control and completely in the fate of the randomizer.
There a very good start to a game here though- keep at it!
