Your quick response does you credit! The idea of shield and cannon isn't a bad one, you just need to keep changing things up regularly to keep the game from getting stale. A variety of threats, more varied sound/graphic effects, upgradeable defenses, or any combination of the above would make this a much better game. As is, it still needs work... but the concept's sound, and you're obviously interested in improving things as per feedback. You get an extra star for listening, which puts you at 3 from me. Flesh things out more fully (call it a sequel, perhaps), and I could certainly see you hitting 4.

4/5, Much better now the first level has been taken out. More exciting. Could use some gameplay music during the game, the sound effects start to become slightly grinding. all in all good job!

Super idea for added controls. AD for shield movement and JL for cannon movement. K to shoot and S to make the shield temporarily bigger every 10 seconds or so. Can you do that?
