Description

Even without the minotaur there are so many enemies it seems the only way to beat it is to 1. Memorize the map and 2. Get lucky enemy spawns so that you can get to a sword shard without dying.

Love the controls, the art, the gameplay, how pressing M will mute music....Dislike easily dying, not being able to find a corridor where the minotaur can fit, having to memorize the map. At the moment, the game seems unbeatable BUT i do like this game in general.

Love the art style, and the concept is top notch. However, until you get the first sword shard, the game is based on luck, dead-ends and meeting monsters on narrow paths will promise a hit, and no shards give you no way to heal or fight back. An idea could be to have a way to attack at first, but make it weak, perhaps a simple stun?

After obtaining a shard, the game changes from a luck-based game to a skill based one for the most part. Putting down chalk markings is useful and finally being able to kill the monsters who screwed you over earlier is satisfying. However, it is skill for the most part, due to one little technical hiccup, the minotaur's hitbox.
The crown of the minotaur hurts when colliding with the feet of the character, resulting in common cheap damage in narrow vertical paths, and due to this, the stun time of the minotaur doesn't help in narrow vertical corridors, due to the oddly made hitbox.

Looks great but every path seems to lead into the Minotaur. More than a dozen starts to only recover one sword shard, immediately followed by an enemy. Hard games can be fun... without the ability to move faster than your enemies, this is just cruel.

Does attack even work? Pressing space, stuff all happens!
