A lot of the puzzles don't make much sense, and neither does the premise. Why am I trying to abandon a large easily-visible and seaworthy yacht in favor of an inflatable raft? Once the SOS is sent, I should just hang out eating fruit and drinking booze until the Coast Guard shows up.
