if you notice, every number you pick(after the math) is a multiple of nine. Now check and you will find that every multiple of nine has the same symbol. ITS MAGIC!!!!

Original number can be written: 10*a + b
And the math is:
10*a + b - ( a + b) = 9 * a
If you insist with the "algorithm"

lol its not that this thing isnt always right its the people who did the math that is wrong. Its just a rip off it will always lead to a multiplication of 9. lets see lets say 55 i would end up with 55-10 hmm 45 a number that 9 can go into.
