it is not unplayable! you are using the wrong controls! you use the mouse to guide Pikachu's body, and click to make Pikachu shoot!

It works! Move the mouse to shift Pikachu in another direction, and click to shoot ash!

It does work, however the controls are not as shown in the instructions. You use the mouse to move and shoot, not the arrow keys.

Well, it looks like Ash tries to kill Pikachu. So the description is wrong.
