I realy like the theme of the game and almost finished the campain already, very entertaining. However I realy struggle giving a good rating for the game, for a couple of reasons: 1. the game feels incomplete e.g. no unit upgrade system and rather small in overall size. 2. the concept of permanent unit loss encourages to redo easier levels over and over again, so its a very "grindy" concept 3. if you build up enough mages (through grinding) the enemy doesnt even get close to you, so the game has an obvious lack of difficulty. Again I did not yet finish it, so my impression might not hold true to the end, however I wish a sequal will add more variaty/strategic elements and get rid of the perma-death/grinding mechanic. Still a 4/5 for me, please continue the great work!

so there are max units per campaign that means I can get back my elephants once I loose them? that's just stupid so if I don't know that I go and play some harder levels losing my units and winning the battle only to not able to replenish my forces? its stupid now I have to go back and delete my save

I'm not sure that the max units for campaign works as intended. I think it's supposed to be max at once but acts as max ever. It's easier to complete as magician because you can kill the enemies with spells before they reach your units (focus on magic upgrades and kill spells). For warrior load up on axe men and replay levels where you can kill the enemy before they reach you.
For buff spells, it would be better they stay the whole battle rather than that round only. Not worth buffing the attack a few points for just one round.

will b easier if you cannot pack more than x number of troops in your formation instead of only 100 mages in the whole game, if they die you are screwed. at the 3rd last level. the mages killed 60 of my archers with one strike. wonder what the final boss fight will be like
