I love "breakout" games. Despite this being a mind-numbingly slow take on the genre, being riddled with bugs, and with a shallow upgrade system which applies only to virtually useless "bonuses," I slogged through the boredom to finish the first 8 levels. On level 9 my character bugged out and got stuck at the top of the screen while the balls eventually bounced away until I died. I thanked the gaming gods that I had a reason to stop playing. Rename this game "Medieval Gimmick Tedium: Broken Edition" and I would give it five stars simply due to how ridiculously accurate that title would be. As is, the very few interesting innovations are so utterly ruined by how they're implemented and the gameplay itself that I wish Kongregate had a NEGATIVE star system. I would literally consider taking a poop to be more fun than this and could probably create something more people would enjoy in the process. 1/5.

I enjoyed it. While I'll agree it "feels" a little slow, if it were too much faster, it would be a lot more difficult to kill more enemies. I liked the eyeballs for multiball, though upgrades for multiballs would have been nice.
