Part 2: Because of the poorly designed battle system, you're going to lose some players right off the bat due to being killed by the first monster. This MUST be changed if you intend on this being anything other than a flop. Also, the battles need to be sped up. We can read single digit numbers pretty quick Frost, don't be afraid to double or triple the combat animation's speed. And yes, there should be no delay when gathering materials. I know it's not a frame rate issue, which means it's how you set it up. If you fix these basic issues, you'll be on the right path Frost. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

Sadly since I hit the event limit in Construct 2, I really can't add healing items, but two of the sprites in the inventory currently are healing items. Also, I plan later to keep this (current) speed of combat as 1x speed and have the player be able to set it to 2x or 4x for combat. I'm just kind of wary about speeding it up after I sped it up 2x before. -Frost

Part 1: Okay, this may seem severe but understand that I'm not trying to be rude. This is terrible, it's barely playable. If you're lucky, in that first battle with the Skeleton he'll just lift his sword a couple times. If not? He'll kill you, end of game. Also, why does our Health go down and stay down? I took 2 damage in the first battle, went down to 3 health. Next fight? Started with 3 health. Apparently our character is the only human who's incapable of natural healing or is stupid enough to pick a fight while still injured.

This game is in a very demo state. I had to work with the demo version of Construct 2. After I buy the full version, there is going to be further updates, like iron tools and progression. In fact, I have already made the files for what I mentioned. -Frost

Try clicking outside of the main layout, in the property section there is a layout size option. I find for kongregate, 800 width by 640 height works well. Hope that helps.
