I thought this was going to be just another boring tile match game, but this actually has some fairly interesting rules about what constitutes a match. I had a fun time figuring it out, and my 5 year old daughter and I had fun playing it. Nice game for spatial relationship thinking for the youngsters!

Connecting two is fairly easy but too simple imo. Another idea is to expand on this by allowing players to connect 2 or more smiliar pieces at once when spotted.
