For a continuation of the story (teased after beating the game), see ScriptWelders' recent game "Don't Escape 3"

Pressing esc to pause would be really helpful.

On a repair skill: to speed up the % repair would be diminishing the game, I feel. As I played, I got a feeling of how long it would take me to complete, and speeding it up would destroy that anticipation. However, if there was a skill to speed up base repair (the bar on the right) or allow damage for that to be bought in the shop as it is for the robot itself, that would be nice. Sometimes you just can't distract these green biters, and the punishment seems too harsh for that. I also feel that the weapon change delay is part of the challenge, even though it feels frustrating. What I'll remember most about the game is how the different animals "swarm" differently, they're well characterized by their behaviours (and the playing field is probably obstacle-less because they would otherwise run into pathing issues and look unnatural?).

Yeah, path-finding would have been a problem :) As for the repair upgrades, it would probably increase both the % and damage repair amounts. I have to test it first and see how it turns out.

Quite well done, a very solid add to the WASD-Gun genre. And you resisted the urge to use zombies - 10 extra points heh! About the only changes I can see crying out to be made are A: separate music/sound toggles - sometimes we just want one or the other. B: As Trucksaw said esc to pause is pretty much a game convention anymore, it'd be nice to have it. Lastly, an additional "Repair Skill" or similar upgrade, one that would increase the rate of repairing a little bit. Even if it's just a smidge it'd be nice to have, it gets a pokey-feeling sometimes later in the game. To make it more useful perhaps also allow that skill to let you change weapons faster. Sometimes that feels VERY slow in the midst of a fight. Let me emphasize the game is plenty good without any of this, it's just all icing on the cake - stuff that if I had my "let's make this absolutely perfect" druthers I'd throw it. Still bloody excellent as is :)

Thanks for the feedback. I've seem people demanding Repair Skill back on sponsor's site. I think it's a valid point. I might add it later on.
