En Plasmid, controlas una cepa bacteriana llamada Jupiter Sphinx, un organismo que se alimenta de gérmenes. La Jupiter Sphinx consume gérmenes atravesándolos, lo que hace que su cuerpo crezca. Sin embargo, el cuerpo es vulnerable a los gérmenes, y el más mínimo contacto podría destruirla. Debes asegurarte de que la Jupiter Sphinx consuma su parte de gérmenes antes de que estos destruyan a la propia bacteria que los controla.
Cómo jugar
Mantén el ratón delante de la Jupiter Sphinx y asegúrate de que su cola no sea atacada por ningún germen.

Tail stays in a straight line, making it look very, very odd. Gameplay isn't really very fun, and not rewarding.

The challenging and impossible modes suffer from stiff motion and lag, while the effortless mode is quite near pointless since there is no tail to lose apprently, either way it is a novel game idea that basically falls short of real playability.
