This would be good for kids. As it is now it's alright for a few plays.
Trying to eat a letter above you shouldn't KILL you outright, it should just knock you back down a few letters. That totally breaks the flow of gameplay and forces the player to go through the menu system again, which is boring.
mute button + more music or longer tracks + normalize your sounds = better rating.

Scrappledog, the red letters are the letters that YOU CANNOT EAT. So, uh, I wouldn't suggest attempting to eat them again.
