it's ok. nothing remarkable and the perma-death seems a little harsh, though i suppose that may be intentional. Also, if I have 1x lives, in most games that means I have one more try, rather than indicating I'm currently on my last life.

Continuing the prev post:

About randomness... gah I used a bit of random velocity X and Y on the split asteroid function and I see "Complete Randomness" in a post. Obviously the guy didn't feel like giving it a second try. People have bad days :) and it seems like bashing on other's people work make them feel better.

Hit me!!!
The game's soon forgotten, stick with the asteroids/base defender/ (no randomness in there assured) or w/e makes your day. I see fun my way and I stand for what I believe in. Now I can only wish I gather the strength and AS3 knowledge I need to sequel this S$%T to a level 7+ difficulty only, tones of semi-bosses to fill the level time... boss adds, and only move-target array based maneuvering for enemies (Chopers in Sonic-Wings for example).

Cheers!
God Bless.

Edit: Do me a favor and DON'T POST or RATE unless you passed through LEVEL 7. THANK YOU.
If you post add clearly in there: "I passed through level 7 and I" ... hate it/love it w/e it.
Please regard the rest as simple whining from I can't do it or I'm too good for this and I get bored quickly.

I built the game in such a way that it ain't too hard on noobs and that seems to be the major "flaw" that people complain about. They get bored and I am to blame.

This is far from fresh as far as Shmups go. The enemies and and lv design are to generic for mt taste. Not being able to pick your starting ship in a shmup is a huge no no to anyone who loves shmups. The one thing I do like is the perma death.

Meh, bad game is bad game. Complete randomness on powerups. Nothing for info on any of them. Just random enemies dropping big ball things that bounce around the screen. A shield bar that randomly goes up and down, or damage is messed up. Get hit by the same unit, one time die instantly, next time take 15 hits and I'm still okay. No real direction for the game either. 3/5
