I might also ad that the badly synchronized music is tantamount to torture even over the short person of time that it took me to write my first comment. I had to mute the wretched thing while I wrote this.

The more simplistic the game is, the more perfected the controls need to be. The simple fact that it is impossible for the user to enter numbers greater than the designated sum of the column or row means that the user then has to remove two or more entries, remember those entries, and then reenter the values using, of all things, mouse and button interface. Bad choice. 2/5

I like the look and the music's really cute, but the puzzle generation leaves a lot to be desired. There's not enough islands on each map, not enough hints to figure out where to start and each puzzle has multiple solutions, meaning that you can't work it out by logic alone. I found that I was just filling in things at random which would work OK at times, but others would leave me completely trapped. The is coming from someone with over 40 years of Kakuro experience, back in the day when it was only available in Dell Puzzle magazines and called Cross Sums. Sorry, dude, but I've got to give this 1/5 for the puzzle generation, bumped up to 2/5 for the appearance and the music.

Anything other than the lowest difficulty requires way too much random guessing, totally the reverse of how the game should be.

And the 'winning' music is from The Legend of Zelda X_X
