I really liked the original Necrorun, though it had it's share of problems. Gripes and praises in no particular order: In this incarnation, level design is greatly improved; I'm no longer encountering any cheap moments when the randomness of obstacle placement makes it impossible for me to make a jump. Combo system is also a lot more forgiving. Maybe the Jumping mechanic is my biggest gripe. It's clunky and odd to execute, rather like the original. But the music is fantastic (like the original), and thanks for the link to the download. Sadly, graphics have taken a hit. Why? Finally, an upgrade system is probably what everyone wants. I personally liked the strictly arcade feel of the original, but I recognize that most will appreciate the ability to buy upgrades. Even still, the game plays and feels arcade, and the upgrades seem a little useless for the most part.

your progress is saved automatically, the graphics may be a bit low res but the animations are nice and it gets a nice feel to it

I really enjoyed the game, but it not saving your progress is a huge no-no in games like this. It takes so long to unlock everything, I was more than a little disappointed when I came back today to finish it up and had to start over :/ If I've missed something, I do apologize.
