Description
A Retro game I made for Mochimedia's retro contest. It was based on developing games that would target old gaming systems like the ZX Spectrum and BBC Micro.
In my case I choose to target the Mochi Micro which meant that I only had a specific 16 colours (and 2 of them were both black so 15 really) and 128kb to play with in terms of file size which is why there isn't any music and the graphical style.
Now that the contest is over I can upload it everywhere else for people to check out.
Added the Kong API too so you can show off your swarm killing skills in the leaderboards =]
How to Play
Arrow Keys to Move
Spacebar to shoot
Collect the powerups that enemies drop when they die.

Can't go wrong with Galaga, but I'd like to see my ship explode, not just the "ships left" counter decreasing.

It does a little bit of a fade/flash thing rather than an actual explosion. An explosion would have taken up more file space which in this case was the main restriction of the contest.
