How to Play
Tutorial and additional instructions included in-game.
In short : you control a baseship, capable of launching ships, deploying structures and performing actions. These are all represented by cards.
Structures are your main source of energy, this energy can be used to launch ships or perform actions.
Ships serve both to defend your base from hostile ships or to attack your opponent's base.
Actions provide all kinds of ways to defend or attack.
You can build your own decks, use the premade decks or use the random deck generator for endless possibilities.
Once on the combat screen, cards in your hand can be played (provided you have enough energy) simply by clicking them and then clicking the location where you want the ship or structure to go.
In a similar way you choose targets for actions : first click the action in your hand to perform it, then choose a target if the action requires one.
Press 'p' during combat to toggle popups.
Press 'l' during combat to show the opponents action log.
Multiplayer, rpg/story mode are all planned for future versions/expansions. Please relax!

Nullvoid, I have to say, this is an amazing game. I'm have a soft-spot for online CCGs, but Hidden Dimensions is one of the best I've played. Having said that, however, it could be epic if you released an update incorporating some suggestions from the top-rated comments. I'd love to get to know the background, play through a campaign, and see status icons on my ships. Even without that, though, it's still a 5/5 in my book. Thanks for making it!

I think this game would gain a lot from a campaign setting of some sort.

I really like this game. =) A few suggestions. Disabled ships should have something displayed on them so that you know they are disabled. Maybe a red X in the upper right corner or over the entire card. I was gonna suggest some type of action log, but I noticed you already got that in there. I've been wanting to do a space card game for awhile, glad someone did it though and did it well. Of course more improvements can be made, but the fact that you care about making improvements and are making them shows this has the potential to be a great game.

Blood_Shadow, i'm obviously familiar with Elements (great game). There are plenty of different mechanics as well, i personally think my game has more in common with Spectromancer (also fixed number of creatures, but no bases) than with Elements. Also check out Mytheria (on Kong as well) for a really awesome card game + of course the Magic The Gathering PC game (the 1998 version). All these games have similar mechanics, i'm not claiming to reinvent CCGs, but i did add the much needed spaceships and explosions!
