Every aspect of this game is commendable, except for the difficulty scaling on the maps. They all start out crushingly difficult, but if you're able to make it past about the halfway point, no further effort is required. It's almost as though there's a single 'right' combination of towers, placed perfectly, that will defeat each map without breaking a sweat, but almost nothing else works at all. On top of this, once your skills are maxed, the entire game becomes a breeze. Balance the difficulty, and you've got a real winner on your hands with this game.

starts hard but becomes increasingly easy, if you keep at it at the beginning and learn some good combos, you will be fine for the rest of the game
