Age Rating

Suggested rating: ESRB Everyone 10+ / Teen-friendly. Contains non-realistic fantasy combat with bows, projectiles, and PvP arena battles. No gore, graphic violence, sexual content, gambling, alcohol, drugs, or mature themes.

AI Disclosure

AI tools were used during development for coding, debugging, UI iteration, gameplay tuning, deployment prep, and some original pixel-art asset improvements. The concept, gameplay direction, testing, balance, final review, and publishing were directed by the developer.

This is not a one-prompt generated game. AI was used as a development assistant, not as a replacement for creative decisions. No AI voices, celebrity likenesses, real-person imitation, or copyrighted character imitation are used.

  1. Gameplay Improvements
  • Improved monster pathfinding around obstacles.
  • Fixed an issue where monsters would try to avoid obstacles too much and end up circling around instead of approaching the player.
  • Reduced boss attack damage in early stages.
  • Early-stage bosses were dealing too much damage, so their damage has been slightly lowered.
  • Updated the rectangular map layout.
  • Map corners have been rounded to reduce the advantage of staying in corner positions.
  • The map is now slightly larger.
  • Obstacle placement has been slightly adjusted.
  1. Balance Changes
  • Adjusted Freeze bonus effects.
  • Removed the base bonus damage from Freeze, as it was scaling too strongly in some builds.
  • Buffed the Electrocution trait.
  • Adjusted mid-boss resistance.
  • Mid-bosses are now less affected by knockback and stun effects.

To the developers: I feel the boss' damage output should be nerfed, especially if you actually want players to have fun without needing a god run to beat stage 1-1.

The game is very, very easy in single-player mode. It gets even easier once you realize there’s a bug with the trees (they approach you in a circular path, which gives you time). I position my character just above the tree in the bottom-right corner; I keep Ice Spear selected for the first 6–7 levels, then switch to Breaker Bow. You don’t need to move until the final boss. Since the final boss jumps on top of you, it needs to step back a bit.

As you mentioned, we have confirmed that some monster behavior becomes unintentionally weak when interacting with obstacles, especially around pathfinding and obstacle avoidance. We are currently working on adjustments for this. We also agree that staying in the corner of the map is not the intended gameplay experience. To improve this, we are working on reshaping the map corners into a smoother, more circular layout so that this kind of strategy becomes less effective. We’ll address these issues in an upcoming update and come back with improvements soon. Thank you!

Just curious, but how big is your dev team? This is a great game, even with the bugs (that are fixed now, thanks!) that were present.

I tried both the ice spear and the sword, got to the final boss and died in 1 pounce. Breaker bow gets INSANE. I' talking about survival, not online play. I am kind of regretting picking divine shield over movement speed, but you take what you can get, and breaker bow is my first victory after 2 losses. Try it for yourself and see!
