Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Also, please join us in the Kongregate Discord for all the latest Kongregate news!

Description
A wannabe developper is starting from scratch. Simple right now, but game will continually grow, and eventaully expand to a real arcade shooter.
I've started to learn AS3 this summer. I'm posting this up in an attempt to "forge" self-motivation to continuing to learn coding.
Will post more DevShot# up as I learn more! Watch the progress of a Gamer to Developer :).
How to Play
WASD. Evade those green blob things!
Included a "cheat" to indefinately survive!

1) This is a very unoriginal idea. Try to come up with an idea of your own.
2) Your hit testing is faulty ... I lose when I haven't even come in contact with anything. Try
hit testing with the object coordinates (_x, _y) instead of the box around it.
3) Needs a restart button on the lose page so I can try again.
4) Change text to static, so no one can select it. A tiny bit annoying.
5) Add score, a menu, music, a mute button, a scrolling background and some cool visuals
6) Maybe add a difficulty slider, with more things spawning and move at faster speed at higher difficulty.
A decent attempt for a first try, I must admit. Better than most "first try" games on this website. Keep working on this, I hope you can develop it to something more interesting. (And never give up !)
4) Change text to static, so no one can select it. A tiny bit annoying.

Unoriginal idea, yes, but learning would be difficult if I try to go creative on my first game :).
