Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Great graphics, never knew hell had such beautiful grass. However, as poisonivy said, it's way to slow. Especially in the horizontal movement. It's probably a third of the speed you get when you jump, which is annoying as hell since it makes you feel you can go faster, but you won't. Besides that it's really a nice game. 3/5 so far, would become 4/5 if you fix the speed.

It's really nice, but as others have said, the movement speed is painfully slow. This presents a problem, as pretty much all the hazards involve speed, so it ends up requiring far more precision than some of the faster platformers. That, combined with the slow death sequence and the fact that, when you die, you start over from the area entrance you used last, made it incredibly tedious at times. I also had a lot of trouble telling my "safe zones" around the bats. Sometimes, the bats would actually touch the devil and I wouldn't die, other times I'd die and be so far away from one that I had no idea what had killed me. That made certain mine sections unnecessarily cruel.

THERE IS NO SAVE!! do not go to menu unless you want to start again. Please make a save feature.
