In a top down action adventure the character has to be able to strafe and to go backwards. Mouse aiming would be very helpful. With the controls the way they are now I can only rate it 2.

The arrows were kind of off- they would sometimes travel forever, and other times only go a short distance. It was unclear sometimes if you were actually hitting something- since the mobs didn't stop all the times they were hit. Leveling was anti-climatic- you didn't refill health, and "+1 stronger" didn't seem to affect your damage.
