This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. Description
Gridlock Buster challenges you to manage the flow of traffic in a gridlocked city in the not-too-distant future.
How to Play
Click on an intersection to change the traffic light to keep the traffic flowing. If cars have to wait for too long, they get frustrated. You fail if the frustration meter fills up. Earn more points by having cars wait for as little as possible. On later levels you will be able to program the signal timing to set up a perfect pattern for optimal traffic flow.

It helps to program the lights so that both lanes in the same direction have the green at approximately the same time, and so that both intersections of the same road have a green for the same direction of traffic at approximately the same time. This will require you to override the signals first.
