Description

Game made in under 48 hours for #81 "quick" IGDC competition.
It's only a prototype, and if accepted by players, will be improved.
Leave in the comments or e-mail me(Reks888@hotmail.com) about what you would like to see added in the game.

Thanks Devin Polaski(devinpolaski.com) for the epic soundtrack.
Good luck ;)

Game rules
Game win condition: survive for two minutes. Game is lost if player runs out of lives. Starting number of lives - 3.,Maximum number of lives - 5. Any collision with enemies or their projectiles takes away one live. Picking up a "heart" powerup restores one live(but not more than 5).
Portals appear on the map over time and enemies come out of the portals over time. In two seconds after the portal is created a monster of third type is created near it to protect. One and a half secodns before enemy spawns, the spawning portal starts flashing. Portals can be closed by placing "portal destroyers" in them(a yellow star). To pick up or drop a "destroyer" press spacebar. While carrying a "destroyer" player movement is significantly slower and player can not shoot.

Enemy types

Type 1 - dark-red wide plane. Flies and shoots in one of four random directions Dies from one shot or one collision with palyer.
Type 2 - bright-red long plane. Master of sinusoidal movement. Dies from two(sometimes one or three) hits or collision with player.
Type 3 - hemisphere. Orbits portal that spawned it.Takes up tot three hits by projectiles or three collisions with player to die. Also dies if owning portal is destroyed.

Not bad I guess for 48 hours but not so hot by any other standard.
