Description

This game was the result of one talented programmer and two writers, who both argued more over what they wanted to see in the game rather than working together to get things into the game.

The programmer wanted to do things differently, but neither of them cared because they wanted it their way.

Here it is, the result of poor collaboration and frustration beset to the programmer by the two writers who did everything but think up good writing.

I did my best, but some of these mechanics they wanted are extremely boring:

I originally had the ship firing in the direction of the mouse, and moving with wasd, but they didn't. They thought it was too hard.

Then mid development, they wanted the ship to be upgrade-able via parts rather than skill points...

fine...

Then one decided we have an invisible boss and one that fills up half the screen! I said WTF!

In the end neither of the writers wanted anything to do with this game, but the programmer has the last laugh.

I am the programmer. I implemented everything. I don't care how much the two writers hated the resulting game. I am a game developer and by god I am going to release this game!

How to Play

Due to...lack of agreement on introduction sequences...There is no initial loading screen...but the game is loading... oh why did I choose to work with such chaos!

Directional keys to move, P to pause, Z to fire.

When you die, you can add parts to your ship. but you start back at the first wave of enemies.

your health is the green bar at the top left hand corner.
you upgrade your ship using scrap, which is given to you after killing enemies.
There are three kinds of upgrades, called Pixels: Red for attack, Green for speed, and Blue for Defense.

The attack pixels actually fire additional bullets.
The defensive pixels will reduce all damage taken by one.
The green pixels make the ship hella fast.
