How to Play

Take Shots: Aim with the mouse, then hold the left mouse button down and move it downwards – use the image that appears on the left to judge the power.

Cancel Shot: Reduce the power bar on the left to the minimum.

Z: Speed up (Zips) shot.
Arrows or A, S, D, W: Add cue ball spin.
M: Enables ‘move cue ball’ when possible.
Q: Quit game.
K: See keys!

@MisfitMomma - I took the rules from wpa-pool.com, here is how you can lose the rack/frame:

"3.8 Losing the Rack
The shooter loses if he
(a) fouls when pocketing the eight ball;
(b) pockets the eight ball before his group is cleared;
(c) pockets the eight ball in an uncalled pocket; or
(d) drives the eight ball off the table.
These do not apply to the break shot."

So, if you foul on the black and don't pot it, then it's just a standard foul.

Also, I'm not including called shots in this game so point (c) can be ignored.

I thought that if you scratched (potted the cue ball) when trying to pot the 8 ball you automatically lose, but this 8 ball game does not do that. It just counts as a foul.
