Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Description
Test your typing skills with over 10 modes of play!
The sequel to my 2006 game, Type It! returns with plenty of new modes, medals, and achievements.
This is my first game in AS3, I finally made the jump. HUGE thanks to mike from newgrounds for helping me with a lot of noobish questions and dealing with AS2->AS3 nuances.
Mike also set most of the platinum medal scores for the game, so take it up with him when you just can't get that high score :)
How to Play
Type the letters that appear. Except for red ones. Some modes have more specific instructions.

it is a serious flaw when letters don't register if you type too quickly in a speed typing game!

I keep hitting the spacebar after typing in a word in the word mode

not bad, but it lacks statistics option (saving feature) and game modes. Also, during the word mode, it would be awesome to get a small preview/queue for the next word because it takes 0.5~1 sec to recognize the new word after typing the previous one. this is a serious time eater
