The Horde 2.0 (BETA)

Description

Test out the pending version of The Horde, a Warcraft-themed tower defense game that has just gotten a LOT bigger and a LOT better.

Only the first two maps are done. This is not a complete game this is your chance to test and help improve the game before it is finished. The final game will include more and better maps, bosses and hopefully some great ideas from the community here.

How to Play

Build towers to defend your country from The Horde. Mouse over build and round buttons and you will see descriptions of what they do. Any time you see a [L]etter in brackets it signifies the key you can press instead of clicking with your mouse.

The map scrolls. You can use the minimap or arrow keys to navigate around it.

Click on towers and monsters to view their information. Some towers can be upgraded and/or imbued with special powers. Most towers allow you to select the targetting mode. When you click a tower the buttons on the bottom right will change to show the options. Click anywhere on the playing screen outside of a tower or monster to deselect.

You can pause the game, turn sound on or off, toggle the speed, restart, and view/reset your personal bests by clicking the Menu button in the top right corner when you are playing the game.

*Warcraft Graphics*
I'm aware that I'm using Warcraft graphics. If Blizzard has a problem with it it is easily rectified by them. If you have a problem with it please don't bother clogging up the comments. Blizzard has a long history of ignoring fan-made games, this is hardly the only one and I really doubt I will be the last person to create one.

The non-warcraft graphics are either made by me if they're particularly simple, or free to use with attribution - check the credits section for more information.
