a mop-up mode after completing the main mission objective without having to worry about failing the secondary objetiveswould be a massive boon, i can't tell you how may enemies and items i have left behind due to turn limits an shot limit counters

Well there is the balance between getting every achivement and getting every loot. But if you get achievement, you will also get higher rewards to offset this.
