Road of the Dead 2

I'm not exactly certain how I feel about this one. While it is a good game on its own, compared to the first one, I didn't particularly like it. The first one was story backed by gameplay; It wasn't very hard to do, but it told a neat story and was wonderful for it. This one seems to be more of trying to have gameplay backed by story. While it is another look at the city at the same time as the first, I just found it being the same thing over and over again; Drive for around 500 meters, stop to grab ammo, occasionally slow down to pick up a civilian or upgrade my car or shoot out a few mines.

weird. there's a lot more story/things to do than the first game.

I like the way that this game doesn't make you feel hard pressed to get to the next area, doesn't make you starved on resources, doesn't make the monsters hard to fight. It takes what a lot of horror games does wrong and makes them right.

Such a wonderful and well-though-out game truly deserves a 5/5.

One of the most fun drinking games I've ever played is to take a shot every time someone says the word 'peace' in this game. It's wonderful.

Something that I noticed was that there is only one level ineach temple that has that 'middle' upgrade, whether it's the speed, bomb, etc. Why is it introduced then never used again?

Alright, I think I figured out this game. (Spoilers ahead for those who don't want to know how.) Basically, you have to make your way through a dungeon where almost everything is trying to kill you. As you progress, the enemies get more advanced; one that can attack in two, or four directions start appearing. Thre are nine levels; the door with the number on it is the one you always want to head through. Once you get through them all, you win! End.

Something awfully suspicious about the fact that the guards can walk right into where I'm at while I'm invisible while I'm in spots where you wouldn't normally walk as a guard, such as a corner.

I love how, after you escape, the guards will walk over the corpse of the target and now care as they plod away leaving blood on the floor.

Somehow, the fact that your mortars don't stop firing after the enemy surrenders humors me immensely. Enemy general surrenders, immediately followed by getting a mortar shell to the face.

Half decent for a first game. 4/5.

Only annoying think about the game is the fact that I couldn't rebind the "Orders" Button. Being on a laptop, which I doubt is what most people play on, it is quite annoying to not have any control whatsoever over the teammates. That being said, I know that it is not a widespread problem, and it was only an issue for me.

Amazing game. Melee feels a little bit clunky, but I think it's good that way; stabbing someone with a bayonet and pushing them to the ground wouldn't be a particularly easy task, most of the time. 5/5.

I found the Labyrinthine forest quite annoying, but that's because it took me two hours to find the squirrel. Loved the game, but that part killed it for me. 3/5, should be 5/5.

The forest should have been relatively easy. The squirrel is not obvious, but it can be found. Are you sure your desktop colours/brightness are set-up correctly?

For people who have a problem with beating the Dutchman, I have noticed that fighting him multiple times causes the damage you inflicted from previous fights to carry over to the next. So if you do 10000 each time, he'll die on the fifth try. Just a bit of a tip.

One way of getting large amounts of time in the Outside that I found is to stick as many bosses as you can with Rage. Preferably, you'd do this with the sniper rifle, from as far as you can, via the standing still thingy.

An overall decent game. One of the major problems I have with it is how awful the controls in the stadium are. The complete lack of WASD controls makes it annoying to say the least.

So it appears a single fully upgraded Zombie Hero can take Santa's Workshop. For some reason, this pleases me greatly.

The auto-retreat function is a bit annoying, especially when it costs you the game. Generally, if I was holding something that if we lost it we would all die, I wouldn't run away because there's a few more that I can handle in melee.
