@long813 You can normally make the game screen smaller by zooming out (ctrl and - in most browsers). It also speeds it up if it is running slow. Rnd 40 is the round to get to on the daily challenge. Just up to when a MOAB comes out.

Just to sum up some of the relevant points people have made about the game. Banana farms should have a money count instead of pop count. Sandbox should allow special agents. Robomonkeys should have independant aim type for each arm. Units should in some way be highlighted when in monkey village range. Map should show where bloons come in at start of level. Units should be able to target more specifically eg lead, camo, heart etc. Triple speed or more button? Option to remove graphics? Try again or restart option should be included. Hopefully it will be easier for developers to notice these comments if all in one place. Also - to maybe help some - "Special Agents Only" special mission is HORRIBLE. Although possible without; I think it is meant to be done with the Bloonsday Device 'special agent PRO' as it is actually quite easy with this.

I remember another bug. When I was on wave 1-2 I tried to go to main menu but it didn't work , instead my cannon disappeared and when I went back to the game the enemies were coming out but I had no cannon. I then reset the level and paused-main menu again. Got to the main menu and then went back into the game. It started me on level 1-3 and not 1-2.

I like it but I have a crazy problem. I 1st got the double gun and then saved 4000 for the localizer (I was able to do the levels easy enough with the double gun). Then came the boss and he is impossible with my un-upgraded double gun. I cannot undo my upgrades, I get no money for trying the boss level and I cannot find a reset progress button so I cannot play any more. :( Please sort it. Also, there is a bug - sometimes pressing the main menu button doesn't take you to the main menu. I have seen this in the shop and in-game.

I haven't rated anything, just so you know. The reason why comments are rated low in general (especially for a game like this where there are loads of comments) is because they are not really relevant to helping people in a big enough way to merit them being high rated comments. It is, in a sense, a way to try and order the comments so that the most relevant ones are at the top. Cupnoodle 37's comment were fairly obvious/irrelevant in relation to the knowledge contained in the higher comments. If you have something unique and beneficial to say then it might stand a chance. This is my opinion based on what I have seen.

Thoroughly enjoying the game. It took me a couple of hours to get to level 18 using logic alone (no trial and error) and with no real difficulty. I have now been stuck on level 18 for 3 hours??? I just cannot figure out a logical way to do it. It would be nice to get a walkthrough of someone actually doing the levels to see the logic; Oh well - will keep trying.

seandearmad - You can almost get 'full screen mode' if you zoom in your browser to 125% AND make your browser fullscreen (f11). But the laaaag. I suspect you would need a real fast machine to do that on later levels.

Mayhark - no, that is wrong. The BIA gets 18k (around 18250) after 7 rounds (NOT 6). You get 3000 per round for BRF as you said but that is 21000 after 7 rounds so the BRF gets you more by near 3000 per 7 rounds. If you can stretch to the cost of a BRF 4,2 early enough then I would say go for that instead. If you cannot make this stretch then BIA could be better for you as it is cheaper.

@grimmeld. The game finishes at 50,65 or 85. If you want to play further then by all means do so but, strictly speaking, the level is finished. If Ninjakiwi just said "no" to adding the freeplay then it wouldn't be an issue but they have allowed it as a kind of extra feature (something most TD games don't do). I really don't see not being able to save an issue. Also, I have completed EVERY level on every hardness without premiums and been past lvl 200 so if you feel the need for premiums (cheats) but don't want to buy them then you will just have to get better at the game; they are not necessary.

Best tower in the game: Sun God Temple. He is best if you make the Sun God Temple wtih the following sacrifices: 3 x Mortar Tower (4,0), 1 x Glue Gunner (4,0), 1 x Monkey Apprentice (4,0), 1 x Ice Tower (4,0), 1 x Monkey Village (3,0), 1 x Monkey Village (0,4). Now make the Sun God Temple (4,2) then put a Monkey Village (2,1) next to it. Can get to 105+ on it's OWN on easy :) You can also get as many as 10 or 11 on many levels. This is achievable by not upgrading the range of the tower BEFORE upgrading it to Sun God Temple. I have found that if Shadow (range) of the Sun God is just touching another building and no more, it will not clear it. Try it on sandbox.

Your welcome cruxifyer. I use these shortcuts all the time. There should be a proper 'official' guide that explains everything but the best I have found is hopping to different threads in forums to try and learn things. BTD5 uses a massive amount of strategy and Ninjakiwi has a lot of information on it's forums. I recommend if you are unsure of something, to give them a look to get the most out of this game as it would be far to much to include here in comments.

This may help some: Best way to beat lag: Use the browser to zoom out (ctrl and - in Chrome); the more you zoom out, the faster the game runs (75% seems a good zoom rate). Also close the browser and re-open after each game to compensate for Flash memory leak problems. In extreme cases, you can open a new tab and when you start the Bloons coming out, click to the new tab (thereby removing the graphics from the screen). This allows you to get way higher than level 100 on a reasonably old PC without it taking AGES. To answer some questions: -Someone (cruxifyer) wanted keyboard shortcuts for the upgrade paths. These shortcuts are "," for left and "." for right. -ALL of the tracks (including extreme) are possible without premiums. Also it is possible (if your PC is fast enough) to get to 200+ without premiums.

While I think the game is quite fun, I don't think it is the best in it's genre and I am amazed with it's high score. I think it is way over rated. It is quite repetitive, involves too much luck and gets boring quite quickly. I think "Flight" and "Learn to Fly 2" are far superior games. Good fun for a bit though.

I was quite enjoying this but after playing for a couple of hours I had to put it off. Back on the next day and found that there was no save. AAAAARRRGH. Needs a save function!!!

When I saw this game on here and it only had 2 stars and was in the list of worst tower defence games I had to look as I played this a while back on ninjakiwi and it is still in my opinion one of the most fun to play tower defence games. I love the graphics, music and towers. If it had more tracks, it would possibly be my favourite of all time which is currently Cursed Treasure: Who Stole My Gems or Gemcraft (Cursed Treasure=fun and Gemcraft=quality). I recommend you look for a working one.
