While I like the 16x enhancement on the hobbies, I'm not sure that it will be a long-term, viable fix for very high hobby levels

I'd love to! There are a bunch of cool girlies slated for upcoming updates; we just gotta deal with all the bugs first so people don't hate us >.<

Why not make the adviser available at 150 population, not 125. I almost colonized, but then realized what I would do, as well as that I was 25 population short of the influence point.
points are gained every 75 population now :)
