Great game. As a former philosopher, future accountant, I'm a huge fan of adversarial philosophy. Any plans for the sequel? Certainly, an introduction to epistemology would be sweet - Jones is a classic Pragmatist in the ethical sense, would be interesting to see if he leans that way with regard to other immortal truths.

What's next Wellcome? A Boxer Rebellion sim? If you need some history consultants who can help out on that I would be glad to give you the contacts :)

Oh and an additional comment: most of all like Cactus' games, you have GREAT music! Not quite the same genre as his work (i.e. chiptunes like Phlogiston) but great stuff nonetheless.
I like this game a lot. It reminds me of a bit more conventional take on Cactus' games - old school as homage, with a good amount of challenge and an interesting artistic take.

Agreed with most people about retuning. I would suggest you adapt this game into a pen and paper style of strategy engine (i.e. Warhammer) and be a bit more explicit within the game about what constitutes cover, critical hits, etc.
