Seems the Red Fire mage at the end is hard to beat. I'm a Dark Fire mage and can't possible beat him. How is his High defense higher than my high attack?

This game is a rip off of MPDTD. It was not made by the DTD folks at casualcollective. They didn't even change the tower types or gameplay.
