I'm sure it's been said but it'd be really nice to have the option, when you acquire an apprentice, to restart as said apprentice with some sort of bonus tied to your prior play through

This is fun but 1) could use a less limited way to get gold, maybe a market building of some sort to trade resources for gold? and 2) a sense of the tech tree would be nice, like knowing what comes next

This is nice but a few thoughts, a bit to reliant on what I can only assume is British vocabulary for an American in the audience (football? ours or yours or rugby?) for example. Also an ability to skip the tutorial and/or post arrest dialogue would be great

can the sequel give us a) more races and b) the ability to play as one of the other races?

For the "stock market" a "Sell at __" or "Buy at __" function. In the real stock market you can pre-trigger these things so I don't see why you couldn't here
