yea, skia is broken, since he doesn't give any exp except when doing artisan tasks. Also he can't smith anything over the player smithing level

you can bake bread using public oven which is located in leupp in sabbach waste.

strategy for sotu nran waterfall: stack up on durum bread (unleavened) or durum bread, also take few sushi rolls as "defence". before fight eat one roll and here comes the hard part, you need to concentrate on your health and message box, when you see red text appear in message box jump. When your health is below what you're comfortable with use bread to fill up health and (optinal) use sushi roll for constant healing.

there is Ore manual that you can get in ancient docks in crossmare cove. To get there you need to go through koncave city gate, which requires passport.

slight update to my armor making comment. making basic necklaces don't need gems, but making gem necklaces need cut gem and necklace. necklaces can be made in Ufagari Village in Ufagari Islands, to get there you need guild membership card which you can buy from artisan guild in east tsu city using artisan points, that you get doing artisan tasks.

to create cape you need at least 35 levels textile skills and some fabric, which you can buy from lunacrest bridge located east to abandoned shack in sabbach waste or you can create threads from wool/cotton/silk and make fabrics in threebury hayes which is located in same place as lunacrest bridge. wool is located in tsu valley in togaru hills, cotton is located in southern trail in sabbach waste.

making armor, at least what i know so far. Hands, Head, Feet, Legs, Chest: make leather armor or if you want other than leather armor you need to buy or get them from fights. L hand: crafting wooden shields. Thumb and Neck: you need rock tumbler and lapidary kit to make gems to make necklaces and rings, but you can get necklaces from fights randomly, not sure which fights. waist: buy martial arts belt. cape: no idea. leather toolkit can be bought in Sun's Harbor in Hoin River Valley. rock tumbler and lapidary kit can be bought in Koncave City Square in underground, but you need 20 great tree seeds, which drop randomly (low probability) from root dwellers and other versions like stealthy root dwellers to put in perspective i killed 2039 and got 22 seeds. But that's just me being unlucky? woodcarving knife can be bought in Teppas general store

reading speed is based on your skill level and thickness of book. if you are reading very thick book and skill level is level 1, reading will seem like it's doing nothing, but if you change to very thin book it will be faster, same goes with skill level.

new bug report: bank inventory grid doesn't scroll smoothly like player inventory, instead snapping to next row after a small threshold is met and moving items one cell to the left when scrolling down and moving items one cell to right when scrolling up. Scrolling with mouse wheel shows this as large jitters, but if you slowly move scrollbar you can see the full effect.

followers gathering ability should be tied to players skill level, not to followers level. Right now i can gather Mesquite logs, but because Lumpys level is only 28/30, which means he can't gather it. Same goes with Turgood with ores.

There are multiple ways to make money, easiest is to gather wood/ore since it is idle, if you have Lumpy/Thurgood as followers. Better way is to craft weapons which gives more money and you can increase your smithing/woodworking. smithing gives higher amount of money than woodworking. When woodworking i recommend unstrung bows since it seems to have best price to log ratio, while with smithing i recommend arrowtips, since they stack and give same amount of money per ore as other smithed weapons. Sawoka vault gives random loot and uses library keys, but last time i got 3k money.

library keys seems to drop randomly from books, so if you want to get them fast you should read books that increases your highest skill.

Library books seems to work according to your skill level, lower the level slower the reading and of course smaller the xp amount. level 1 skills give 6 xp per page and are really slow to read

While playing this or other idle games that pauses when you're not in same tab, you can circumvent that pause by keeping the game in its own window. As long as you don't minimize the window, your game doesn't pause and you can have other windows on top of it.

to make steel you need to unlock area action:refine iron in smith's village . I'm not 100% sure if only ancient ruins diary upgrade is enough to unlock it since after getting to dirty diary 3/5 and in spirit spring i did everything except water spirit 3/5 where you need 5 holy water, i checked the smithy and refine iron was unlocked
