If you're having issues where you can't progress, REFRESH THE PAGE! It seriously helps for some reason. Locked content which shouldn't be locked should then be accessible.

I see a skill that allows the furnace to handle more items, but after several hours, I have not found any way to craft anything. No foundry, nothing.

The game's a bit glitchy... sometimes I don't get the ship for the bug boss so I can't pick up the allies... sometimes I can't even move when going to the next boss
