The Protect skill seems to be broken? It blocks a single attack. Not even a full turn. But a counter stays up for 3 whole turns?

Why does shield bash's buff say that it has (turn left: x) when it only lasts until your next turn? And how do we find out what adding more points to a skill does?

I really like the system. Obviously it wasn't intended to get good ratings over the graphics, but if they were enhanced this could go a long way. Different attacks would help as well, although that might make the system harder, and it might need to use the keyboard instead of the mouse. I really hope you go somewhere with this system, and i'd love to try it if you do!
