I keep getting an error while the game is downloading data and the error message reads as follows: "SyntaxError: missing } after function body" Can anyone help?

Are you using Firefox by chance? I've had another player with a similar issue that I can't reproduce on my test machine. If you have Chrome, can you try if that works for you?
