@TeDOOD If your character is moving very slowly, that probably means that you're carrying too much stuff! Your carried encumbrance is over your limit. To solve this, either sell/drop the items you don't need(mostly those armor and weapons), or raise your total encumbrance through stats/skills/composition. Also, I'd like to say that I love this game. Grinding may seem boring at times, but it's perfect if you're trying to shave off a few extra hours.
