what do legendary monsters give?

is my guy bugged or something? i am at the part where i am trying to get past the blockade and i have to talk to eldric, but he keeps saying to check out the woods.

slicer for doom frog as scout at least you just rotate stuns like kidney shot first > then 2x atk > then cheap shot > then atk > then the 3 silver 50 copper stun thing > then atk > then restart, and doomfrog will be super easy to beat. This way he will barely atk and should be easy to kill him. I was lvl 40 when i killed him.

digitel were you doing the arena or story when you got that weapon? Also where did you get it like if story was it at the quils spot etc.
