Click "manual timeout" next to the bar in order to stop your combo and get your money. You don't have to wait lol

There is a way to get more health when doing pvp. It costs gold. In the left hand side right next to your health bar, there will be a "+" sign that is red. If you click it, you will get full health depending on if you have money or not. Hover your pointer above it to see how much it will cost.
