If you're doing a Princess Maker remake, go all the way and make the apprentice a girl. :(

Congratulations on doing so many games! This kind of determination is amazing. However, try to read more books. The story reads like a very bad, very clichéd anime (Saint Seiya levels of badness).

bad controls, bad edge detection, sluggish speed. graphics are the strong point.
