I've encountered a glitch: I solved the puzzles on level 24, but when I moved to the exit, the level went black. I could still see the exit and move my avatar square, but there wasn't anything else. Not even collision detection for the edge of the screen. Just a black void of empty space all around. Moving onto the exit again only caused my square to freeze for a few seconds before letting me move it again. If there are more levels, please fix this so I can play them.

I can't "use" any of my items, such as the axe with the tree. I've tried a) clicking one, then the other; b) dragging; c) double clicking; e) right clicking; but it's no use! :(

2/5 - The movement controls are far too finicky. I can't even make it past the area following the second statue! Trying to do precise jumps when the player apparently has inertia is just too difficult. Pressing > for one instant too short before jumping means I don't clear the first set of spikes. One instant too long, and I crash headlong into the second set. I've tried again and again, but I'm just not making any progress. I'm sure this game has some interesting philosophical content further in, going by the comments, but it doesn't do any good if I can't reach it.

How Smart Are You?

Let's design some tests to confirm that an entirely alien species is intelligent! To transcend the language barrier, we'll use pictures for our clues! And then we'll have them do things like... spell words in English? That works, right?

I'm using a laptop with no mouse. Doesn't exactly work for the shooting part. I died that first night. Without the shooting, this could be an okay game. Otherwise, it's unplayable. 3/5

no-one has to die.

_Controls_ Turn order is you, water, fire, repeat. On your turn you may do any, all, or none of the following: move people (1 step each), lock one lock only (this cannot be changed), toggle the water on or off (you can do this as much as you like, provided you have someone beside the switch). Pressing the forward arrow ends your turn. Pressing the loop arrow resets the puzzle. After your turn comes water. If the switch is on, water spreads one space in all directions. Water extinguishes fire in its space. If the switch is off, water stays put. Then it is fire's turn. Fire spreads one space in each direction. Both water and fire kill people if they enter their space. Locks stop both water and fire. The puzzle is completed when neither water nor fire advance for an entire round. + if this was helpful. :)

Too much button mashing for me.
